Emailed to you, not posted. This is a set of downloadable PDF patterns — there is no physical item and nothing ships. The download link is sent to your email address as soon as payment clears, usually within a minute. You make the objects yourself.

Sixteen patterns for the whole of Halloween — five coasters, three hanging spirals, four no-sew minis, two mug huggers, a six-disc pumpkin that comes apart into coasters, and a ghost motif blanket you join as you go. Most of them are one evening. Buy it once and the season is covered.

Ghost Blanket is sized by how many motifs you make — a baby blanket is 30 motifs and a throw is 63.

What you get

  • 32 files — every pattern in A4 and US Letter, 77 pages per edition
  • 211 numbered rounds and rows across the set, each one ending in the stitch count you should have
  • A stitch chart for every pattern, drawn from the same counts as the written instructions
  • 60 troubleshooting notes — the specific things that go wrong in these designs, and what to do about each
  • Nothing is sewn together. Not one pattern in this set has a seam.
  • Ghost Blanket comes in three sizes, every size written out in full — no “repeat for your size”

Before you start

  • Skill level: three are beginner, the rest are confident beginner — you need to be able to crochet already, but nothing here is advanced
  • Hook: 4.0 mm (US G/6) for 13 of them, or whatever gives you 19 sc to 10 cm. The three spiral ornaments are worked in DK at 3.5 mm (US E/4), or whatever gives you 22 sc to 10 cm
  • Total time: about 7 to 12 hours for the fifteen smaller pieces, if you made every one — the blanket depends on how large you make it
  • Assembly: every piece is worked in one go, or worked directly onto the piece before it. Nothing is sewn together at the end.
  • Terms: US crochet terms throughout

You must already know: chain, changing colour at the end of a row, counting a foundation chain, double crochet, increase, joining motifs as you go, sc2tog, sc3tog, single crochet, using a stitch marker, working in continuous rounds, working in rows, working into a chain space. These patterns do not teach you to crochet — they teach you to make these particular objects.

You will need: a stitch marker, a yarn needle for ends, and scissors. A few of the patterns use safety eyes or a scrap of contrast yarn for a face, and the stacking set needs a little toy stuffing for its post — each file lists its own on page 1.

Bought separately these would be sixteen downloads. This is one.
