Emailed to you, not posted. This is a set of downloadable PDF patterns — there is no physical item and nothing ships. The download link is sent to your email address as soon as payment clears, usually within a minute. You make the objects yourself.

Oak and maple leaves, an acorn coaster, an autumn spiral, and two stuffed minis — a toadstool and an acorn with a hanging loop. The weeks between Halloween and the first frost, covered.

The six patterns

Pattern Worked over Time to make
Oak Leaf Coaster 17 rows 20–30 minutes
Maple Leaf Coaster 8 rounds 20–30 minutes
Acorn Coaster 12 rounds 20–35 minutes
Autumn Leaf Spiral Ornament 1 row 15–25 minutes
Bramble the Toadstool 18 rounds 30–45 minutes
Hazel the Acorn 15 rounds 25–45 minutes

What you get

  • 12 files — every pattern in A4 and US Letter, 27 pages per edition
  • 71 numbered rounds and rows across the set, each one ending in the stitch count you should have
  • A stitch chart for every pattern, drawn from the same counts as the written instructions
  • 18 troubleshooting notes — the specific things that go wrong in these designs, and what to do about each
  • Nothing is sewn together. Not one pattern in this set has a seam.

Before you start

  • Skill level: one is beginner, the rest are confident beginner — you need to be able to crochet already, but nothing here is advanced
  • Hook: 4.0 mm (US G/6) for five of them, or whatever gives you 19 sc to 10 cm. The autumn leaf spiral ornament is worked in DK at 3.5 mm (US E/4), or whatever gives you 22 sc to 10 cm
  • Total time: about 2 to 3.5 hours, if you sat down and made every one
  • Assembly: every piece is worked in one go, or worked directly onto the piece before it. Nothing is sewn together at the end.
  • Terms: US crochet terms throughout

You must already know: back loop only, chain, counting a foundation chain, double crochet, increase, sc2tog, single crochet, using a stitch marker, working flat in rows, working in continuous rounds. These patterns do not teach you to crochet — they teach you to make these particular objects.

You will need: a stitch marker, a yarn needle for ends, and scissors. Some of the patterns also use toy stuffing — each file lists its own on page 1.
