Emailed to you, not posted. This is a set of downloadable PDF patterns — there is no physical item and nothing ships. The download link is sent to your email address as soon as payment clears, usually within a minute. You make the objects yourself.

Every hanging spiral in the shop — ghost, bat, candy corn, autumn leaf, candy cane and icicle. Each is one strip that twists as you work it, with the hanging loop made first, and each takes about twenty minutes. Six ornaments in an evening.

The six patterns

Ghost Spiral Ornament 1 row 15–25 minutes
Bat Spiral Ornament 1 row 15–25 minutes
Candy Corn Spiral Ornament 1 row 15–25 minutes
Autumn Leaf Spiral Ornament 1 row 15–25 minutes

Icicle Spiral Ornament 1 row 15–25 minutes

What you get

  • 12 files — every pattern in A4 and US Letter, 24 pages per edition
  • Every row ends in the stitch count you should have, so you can check yourself as you go
  • A stitch chart for every pattern, drawn from the same counts as the written instructions
  • 19 troubleshooting notes — the specific things that go wrong in these designs, and what to do about each
  • Nothing is sewn together. Not one pattern in this set has a seam.

Before you start

  • Skill level: confident beginner throughout — you need to be able to crochet already, but nothing here is advanced
  • Hook: 3.5 mm (US E/4) throughout, or whatever gives you 22 sc to 10 cm in DK
  • Total time: about 1.5 to 2.5 hours, if you sat down and made every one
  • Assembly: every piece is worked in one go, or worked directly onto the piece before it. Nothing is sewn together at the end.
  • Terms: US crochet terms throughout

You must already know: chain, counting a foundation chain, double crochet. These patterns do not teach you to crochet — they teach you to make these particular objects.

You will need: a stitch marker, a yarn needle for ends, and scissors — each file lists its own on page 1.

Six downloads bought separately. This is one.
